The brief
Fatzebra came to us selling through social media direct messages. Every order was a manual conversation, stock was tracked in a notebook, and the brand had no home of its own. The clothing was good; nothing about how it was presented said so.
The ask was a store that could take an order without a conversation, and photography strong enough to carry a premium price on a small catalogue.

Thinking behind the design
A small catalogue is a constraint and an advantage. With fourteen products there is no need for filters, faceted search or a category tree, so every decision went into making one product feel worth the price.
The landing image carries the whole first screen. No slider, no promotional band, no popup. One photograph, one line, one way in.
Size, fabric and fit sit above the fold because they are the questions that stop a sale. The add-to-cart button never leaves the screen on mobile.
Eighty percent of the traffic arrives from Instagram on a phone, so the phone layout was designed first and the desktop version was widened from it.
